Pears Stuffed with Gorgonzola and Wrapped with Prosciutto

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 large pears, peeled
  • 4 ounces Gorgonzola cheese
  • 16 pieces thinly sliced prosciutto
INSTRUCTIONS

  • Heat oven to 400 degrees. Cut pears in half. Using melon baller remove stringy part of core. Fill the cups of each half with Gorgonzola. Carefully slice each pear half lengthwise into 4 spears. Wrap each pear slice snugly with a slice of prosciutto. Bake 10 minutes. Serve with toothpicks.
